Volunteer Work in Illuminating Yaffo
For many years, Jaffa was considered the backyard of Tel Aviv. Lack of budgets and neglect on the one hand and a challenging fabric of life consisting of different sectors, new immigrants and weak populations on the other.
Following this, the social active community division was established in the organization, which employs many dozens of volunteers from the Hesder Yeshiva students, the girls' midrasha for women, and the student village that operates throughout the city.
The 'For the Community' department works in the fields of welfare, education and the community and integrates into existing urban volunteer frameworks as independent projects. We focus on projects with youth and children at risk, the elderly, immigrants from Ethiopia and connecting to Jewish tradition.
