"Hibat Zion"
Pre-Military Academy

Through the "Arzei HaLevanon" Pre-Military Academy, a light of spiritual Zionism shines from Yaffo to Jewish communities worldwide. The academy, founded two decades ago in the Samarian hills of Ma'ale Ephraim, relocated to Yaffo five years ago and expanded its educational vision with an inspiring national mission – strengthening connections with Diaspora Jewry through the "Hibat Zion" (Love of Zion) program. Upon completing their service and work in the Diaspora, students return to Israel and serve meaningfully in the IDF.
At the end of their first year of studies, academy students, led by the program director, travel to Jewish youth summer camps abroad. There they establish study halls with a distinctly Israeli character – satellite branches of the pre-military academy that combine deep connections with local Jewish youth and profound, meaningful Torah study.
A special track is now being planned where outstanding academy students will spend a unique second year in Diaspora communities, where they will integrate into Jewish communities and expand Torah learning. This unique program launched in Yaffo integrates with national efforts to encourage aliyah and strengthen ties between world Jewry and the State of Israel. The "Hibat Zion" program serves as a living bridge connecting the people dwelling in Zion with their brothers and sisters scattered across the globe, laying foundations for a shared and hopeful future.
